Dr. Muthmainnah is an Associate Professor of English Education at Universitas Al Asyariah Mandar, West Sulawesi, Indonesia, where she also serves as Vice Director of Quality Assurance. She holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) and a Master of Education in English Education from the State University of Makassar, and a Bachelor of Education in English Education from State Islamic Alauddin University.

Her research focuses on artificial intelligence in education, in particular AI- and generative AI-assisted English language learning, robot-assisted language learning (RALL) and human–robot interaction, cybergogy, IoT-assisted education, metaverse and virtual reality learning environments, and the design of digital teaching materials. Her recent work, published with Springer, Emerald, Routledge, IGI Global and AIP Publishing, examines topics such as ChatGPT-based human–robot interaction for language learning, computational storytelling robots for creative writing in English as a foreign language, and VR-based metaverse ecosystems for developing learners’ transferable skills.

She is adjunct faculty at Manipal GlobalNxt University (Malaysia), Maryam Abacha American University (Nigeria) and Universidad de Panamá, and serves as an external PhD examiner for universities including Western Sydney University, Bharathiar University and Madurai Kamaraj University. She edited the IGI Global volumes Advanced Applications of Generative AI and Natural Language Processing and Innovations in Educational Robotics: Advancing AI for Sustainable Development, serves on the editorial boards of Discover Sustainability (Springer) and PLOS ONE, and has delivered invited keynote and plenary talks at international conferences across Asia, Europe and Africa.

Dr. Udit Mamodiya is an Associate Professor and Associate Dean (Research & Development) at Poornima University, Jaipur, India, with more than thirteen years of experience in teaching, research and academic administration. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering and an MTech in Industrial Automation and Control from Poornima University, and a BE in Electronics Instrumentation and Control from Rajasthan Technical University; he received gold medals for both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees.

His research spans artificial intelligence and machine learning for renewable energy and smart grids, the Internet of Things, industrial automation, robotics and human–robot interaction, and AI in education, including federated learning for student privacy, agentic AI for adaptive learning in virtual reality, and blockchain-based academic credentialing. He has authored more than 300 publications in SCI, Scopus and UGC CARE-listed venues, including Scientific Reports, IEEE Access and Energy Conversion and Management: X, as well as engineering textbooks and edited volumes, and he is a named inventor on more than 45 published patents and 20 granted design patents.

He is Co-Principal Investigator of the AICTE-funded IDEA Lab at Poornima Institute of Engineering and Technology, has organized more than ten international conferences with Scopus-indexed proceedings, and served as guest editor of a special issue of the International Journal of Electrical and Electronics Research. He is a member of ACM and a life member of ISTE.
